Vincent Lucas to launch pop-up experience at Four Seasons Hotel, Johannesburg

French Michelin-star chef, Vincent Lucas, will launch an intimate pop-up culinary experience at Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff Johannesburg, South Africa this March.

During the event, which will be held this March, Johannesburg’s most discerning diners will get a chance to taste Lucas' contemporary French cuisine, which he describes as “creative dishes inspired by tradition, and embalmed with distinct, refined flavours”.

Lucas is chef and owner at Etincelles in Sainte-Sabine-Born, France and this pop up culinary season forms a collaboration with Goût de France, a global initiative by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which aims to boost the visibility of French cuisine on five continents.

The international event also follows UNESCO’s goal to put French cuisine traditions on the world’s cultural heritage list.

“Welcoming creative talents such as Chef Vincent Lucas to the ‘Jozi-we-love’ contributes to the culinary influence of our exciting city on the continent," says Sebastien Carre, general manager, Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff Johannesburg.
