NYC and Cape Town Promoting Each Other

A city twinning agreement between NYC & Company and Cape Town Tourism is due to see a co-marketing agreement going live this February, following the initial deal that was signed between both agencies in 2017.

Both have pooled resources to market each other’s world-class destination, with Cape Town expecting to receive more New Yorkers taking advantage of special airfare offers and other benefits.

Cape Town’s attractions are due to appear on 62 bus shelters and over 1,000 outdoor LINK kiosks across New York’s five boroughs, introducing US locals to what’s on offer on South Africa’s southwest coast.

New York, meanwhile, will be marketed to Capetonians via a city centre digital billboard, in Tsogo Sun’s – a premier hotel and entertainment group – print and TVC media, and Cape Town Tourism’s mobile Visitor Information Centre that travels to events and hotspots throughout the city.
