Saruni’s portfolio of lodges in Samburu and the Masai Mara is launching panoramic air transfers and scenic excursions from its Northern Kenya properties.

With an aircraft based at Kalama airstrip, the new services are due to begin on July 01 and continue until the end of September.

The plane - a six-seat Cessna 206 – is anticipated to provide quicker, easier connections between Saruni Samburu and Saruni Rhino in Sera Conservancy, Reteti Elephant Sanctuary in neighbouring Namunyak Conservancy as well as other destinations in the region.

Being based in Samburu (Kalama), the plane is expected to make it easier and cheaper to enjoy scenic flights over Kenya’s wild undiscovered North, covering vast landscapes from a bird’s eye perspective. Landmarks include Lake Turkana, the Lorian swamps, and Mathews range.
