Cape Town Ziplines Reopen

Cape Town Ziplines, a SA Forest Adventures initiative, recently reopened in Silvermist Estate on Hout Bay Road.

Open no matter the weather, the 2.3 km zipline tour is one of Africa’s longest and highest.

Following a two year closure, the site reopened on July 02 with GoPro partnering with Cape Town Ziplines.

Speaking at the opening, Donald Grant, minister, provincial, transport and public works, commented, “Tourism has long been identified as a key driver of the Western Cape’s economy and forms part of our economic growth strategy, Project Khulisa.”

He continued the ziplines, as an addition to the area’s many tourist attractions, would not only expose visitors to the region’s natural beauty and distinctly South African topography, but also offer a unique experience.
