Set to be effective from October 27, the US airline will launch a five-weekly route from John F. Kennedy International Airport to Lisbon, operated by Boeing B757.
A Los Angeles service to Paris and Amsterdam is scheduled to fly three and four times weekly with Airbus A330 aircraft, while the new Indianapolis – Paris flight, due to be launched on May 24, will be extended into the winter.
The year-round non-stop access will be operated by Boeing B767-300ER aircraft.
Finally, Delta's new Orlando – Amsterdam service began on March 30, and will now run through the winter, providing a vital year-round, non-stop link between Florida and Europe.
Dwight James, senior vice president, Trans-Atlantic, Delta, enthused, “Delta customers on both sides of the pond have told us more flying between Europe and the US is valuable to them and we are very excited to make more non-stops to the US from Paris, Amsterdam and Lisbon through the winter season a reality."
