United Airlines Unveils New Lounge at San Francisco Airport

Beginning April 30, passengers travelling with United Polaris, United Airlines’ international premium cabin travel experience, will be able to relax and dine prior to their travels within the new United Polaris lounge at San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

According to the carrier, the focus behind United Polaris has always been to provide long-haul travellers with what they have asked for. Highlights of lounge include 19 different types of seating, 492 power outlets and 492 USB ports, five private daybeds outfitted with Saks Fifth Avenue bedding, eight shower suites featuring rainfall showers, and Soho House & Co's Cowshed Spa products, as well as personal valet services. Correspondingly, dining options include The Dining Room, a private restaurant style dining area with a menu designed by chef Tritia Gestuvo.

Going forward, United Polaris is also set to extend its presence at Newark Liberty International Airport, expected to open by early June, while its lounge at George Bush Intercontinental, Houston is set to open this summer, and the lounge at Los Angeles International Airport this fall.
