Delta Adds New Rome Service

Delta is continuing to build on a memorable year in Boston with the announcement of new summer service between Boston and Rome, part of the airline’s 2020 plans for expanded flying from three of the airline’s hubs to 10 popular trans-Atlantic destinations.

The new flights were announced at Logan International Airport as Delta, which recently designated Boston as its newest hub, officially assumed operations at all gates in Logan’s Terminal A, making the airline the terminal sole operator for the first time since the facility opened in 2005.

“Boston is a tremendous international city, and Delta’s ongoing investments here are delivering a truly world-class experience from ground to air,” said Ed Bastian, CEO, Delta.

Altogether, Delta and its partners serve more than 50 destinations from Logan International, offering customers the most international seats with flights to up to 18 international destinations.

In 2018, Delta launched flights connecting Boston with Lisbon and Edinburgh, KLM increased Amsterdam service, Virgin Atlantic added a daytime Heathrow flight, and Korean Air launched service to Seoul-Incheon.
