Delta Air Lines (DAL) and Grupo Aeroméxico (GA) have announced the reinforcement of their partnership by creating more options and expanded service for travellers flying between the US and Mexico, with the implementation of a Joint Cooperation Agreement which deepens coordination to better serve customers.

Subject to government approval, the collaboration will see the launch of five flights in new markets, additional frequency for four existing destinations, and upgraded aircrafts for two regions currently being served.

"The strong relationship between [the companies] provides significantly more choice for our customers, and the changes we are announcing […] underscore the level of integration, customer focus and commitment we bring to the trans-border market," announced Nicolas Ferri, vice president, Mexico and joint business, GA/DAL.
