The free guide features photography and editorial pieces that capture the essence of an Almost Heaven vacation to West Virginia.
The new travel guide is one of the first of its kind to feature magazine-style editorial, layout and design.
Content pieces span across all four seasons and feature itinerary-based road trips and articles themed to attract both repeat and first-time visitors to West Virginia.
“From the beginning, we wanted to create a travel publication that stood out among those produced by our surrounding states by stylising our advertisements and filling the guide with sponsored content from our industry partners,” elaborated Chelsea Ruby, tourism commissioner, West Virginia Tourism Office. “Upon ordering, you will see that the Vacation Guide is more than just your average state travel guide.”
The Vacation Guide features hundreds of tourism businesses, attractions and events across the state and marks the first major step toward regional cooperation and use of a consistent brand image for West Virginia.
