Avis Budget Group Reports Strong Q2 Results

Avis Budget Group reported its revenue grew four percent to a record USD2.3 billion in its results for its second quarter (Q2) ended June 30.

There were also significant improvements in per-unit fleet costs and utilisation while Net Income improved to USD26 million and Adjusted Net Income increased 84 percent to USD46 million, or USD0.57 per diluted share.

Adjusted EBITDA increased 15 percent to USD161 million and the company authorised an additional USD250 million of future share repurchases and updates its full-year projected 2018 results.
