Tourism Department Launches New Mexico True Thirty

The New Mexico Tourism Department unveiled New Mexico True Thirty, an interactive list of 30 must-see attractions targeted to New Mexico residents.

The list includes notable state and national parks, manmade landmarks, off-the-beaten-path treasures and cultural sites.

New Mexicans can start their journey by taking the New Mexico True Thirty quiz at New Mexico’s official website, checking off each of the 30 locations where they have already visited and sharing that number on social media with the #NewMexicoTrue hashtag.

“You could live here your entire life and not realise how close you are to standing in the same spot as Billy the Kid once did. Our goal is to encourage New Mexicans to visit all four corners of our state and create memories in these amazing places,” commented, Rebecca Latham, cabinet secretary, tourism, New Mexico.
