Disney Cruise Line Unveils its Upcoming Ships

During Walt Disney Company’s annual shareholders meeting on March 08, Disney Cruise Line announced the launch of three new vessels that are scheduled to set sail from 2021 – 2023.

The new ships are being designed to offer more innovation, new technologies, spectacular entertainment and more Disney stories and characters than ever before.

The ships will bring Disney’s iconic stories and franchises to life as introduced within their existing fleet. In recent years, the company added innovations such as Marvel and Star Wars themed spaces inside its kids’ clubs, stage shows such as Beauty and the Beast and an entirely new genre of dining experience combining live entertainment, storytelling and interactive moments at Tiana’s Place and Rapunzel’s Royal Table restaurants.

Each new ship will weigh approximately 140,000 gross tonnes, slightly larger than the Disney Dreamand and Disney Fantasy, with each being planned to include around 1,250 guest staterooms.

Each ships design plans, ship names and itineraries are still under development.
