Gloria Guevara Manzo has been named as the president and CEO of World Travel & Tourism Council, where she will be instrumental in leading the organisation into its next phase of development.

Alongside her new responsibilities, Guevara is also currently a special advisor on government affairs for Center for Health and the Global Environment at Harvard School of Public Health.

Guevara served as secretary of tourism for Mexico as well as CEO of Mexico Tourism Board between 2010 – 2012, where under her leadership, Mexico’s National Agreement for Tourism was created.

Having gained a wealth of experience in executive roles across government, private sector, and academia, Guevara previously worked as CEO of Sabre Mexico.
