David Oppenheim has been named the new vice president of sales at Alaska Airlines.

Oppenheim joins Alaska Airlines from United Airlines, where he served as managing director and was responsible for the carrier's global corporate and travel management accounts.
Preceding that, he was a principal with The Boston Consulting Group, working with global airlines, among other clients.

In his new role, Oppenheim will be responsible for strengthening and growing relationships with Alaska Airlines' corporate travel customers. His role will help the carrier further its business growth, develop new products and services and guide expansion into key corporate markets nationwide.
