Park Hyatt set for Kuala Lumpur Debut

A Hyatt Hotels Corporation affiliate has entered into a management agreement for the Kuala Lumpur’s first Park Hyatt-branded hotel.

The high-end venue will join the city’s PNB 118 tower development, anticipated to be completed by 2020 and expected to be Malaysia’s, and Southeast Asia’s, tallest skyscraper, ranking it as the world’s third tallest.

Set for a 2021 opening, Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is being designed to occupy the top 17 floors of the 118-storey tower.

The hotel’s 232 guestrooms include 28 suites and 30 residential apartments. There will also be residentially-inspired galleries and libraries, over 1,858 m2 of flexible meeting spaces, three on-site restaurants and bars, a six-treatment room spa, fitness centre, and swimming pool with city views.

“The new Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur will provide guests with meaningful and enriching moments as they find themselves surrounded by contemporary luxury and artistry at its best − from original art works to the finest in culinary expression,” commented David Udell, group president, Asia Pacific, Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
