Whilst both existing brands are to retain their identities within their respective markets for now, the new brand is due to be rolled out over course of this year. Stuba’s commercial headquarters are planned to be located in Dubai, where both companies are currently based, but are also planning to retain operational offices in Australia, the UK, India and US.
Matt Stuart of getabed, chief commercial officer, Stuba, explained, “We felt unifying under a new banner will go a long way to help integrate the teams across offices. The teams have already embraced the new brand really enthusiastically.”
The new brand is anticipated to be officially launched during this year’s Arabian Travel Market, with Stuba’s stand located at TT1364. Teams from both roomsXML and getabed are to be present to welcome visitors and to brief them on the benefits of working with the newly-formed company.
