Japan Airlines Expands Boeing Fleet

Boeing and Japan Airlines have announced an order of four 787-8 Dreamliners, with a value of more than USD900, expanding the Japanese airlines’ Dreamliner fleet to 49 airplanes.

Commenting on the addition to the fleet, Yoshiharu Ueki, president, Japan Airlines, said, "This order for additional 787 Dreamliners, is a key part of our strategy as we look to bolster our existing route network and strengthen our position ahead of the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo.”
