Thailand Exceeds Visitor Arrival Target

Yu-Chen Wang was named Thailand’s Luckiest Visitor for being the 34 millionth visitor to the country this year.

Upon her arrival, senior executives of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) welcomed and rewarded her with two economy class return tickets from her original destination to Thailand, and a voucher for a five-night accommodation in Thailand as well as the Thailand’s Luckiest Visitor accolade that included a signed certificate from TAT.

Tanes Petsuwan, deputy governor, marketing communications, TAT, said that this year has been an exceptionally good year for Thailand, which is ready to welcome the New Year with a range of exciting tourism events and activities under the action-packed Amazing Thailand Tourism Year 2018.
