Aboriginal Tourism Boost for Western Australia

In partnership with Indigenous Business Australia (IBA), the Western Australian Indigenous Tourism Operators Council (WAITOC) is launching a Business Support Programme that will foster the growth and expansion of a range of authentic aboriginal cultural tourism experiences throughout Western Australia.

The partnership with IBA will assist WAITOC, with their skills and experience, to provide a range of business support services which are targeted to individual requirements. It will align with regional economic development strategies to accelerate the development of Aboriginal tourism products with the support of experienced Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal tourism specialists.

“Through this exciting partnership with WAITOC, we are looking to increase business capacity and capabilities with a view to these Indigenous businesses achieving long term sustainability,” said Rajiv Viswanathan, CEO, Indigenous Business Australia.
