Tourism New Zealand Release Touring Map for Chinese Tourists

Tourism New Zealand’s official visitor information network, i-SITE, released a Chinese version of its popular touring map, designed to support the 400,000 annual tourists arriving from China each year, with key targeted driver safety information.

The map has been designed to equip Chinese visitors with detailed information about driving on the left side of the road, driving to the weather conditions, wearing seatbelts, giving right of way, overtaking and any potential hazards on their route.

Both Chinese and English language touring maps also highlight i-SITE visitor centre locations, police contact information, freedom camping, and themed highways across New Zealand, to name just a few. These free maps are set to be provided by the 80 i-SITE visitor centres across the country, and can be downloaded on Tourism New Zealand’s official website.
