Bangkok Airways Introduces New Online Payment Channels

Bangkok Airways introduced five new channels for online payment in order to facilitate its passengers, especially those who are digitally savvy.

The five new channels are LinePay, WeChat, AliPay, UnionPay and an installment payment plan (zero percent interest for three months) for certain credit card users.

Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, president, Bangkok Airways, elaborated, “To make sure that the online transactions will be smooth and reliable, Bangkok Airways has teamed up with (Singapore-headquartered pan-Asian payment services company) 2C2P who are experts in this field of systems management.”

He continued the added payment channels, which are already in operation, can also support multi-currency payments which is anticipated broaden opportunities for Bangkok Airways to tap into some new markets in South East Asia and China.
