Travelgenio Renews Travelport Partnership

Travelport and Travelgenio jointly announced that they have renewed their long-term partnership.

With nearly 250 airlines having signed up to use the travel commerce platform’s merchandising technology, Travelgenio will now be able to further differentiate its services.

Following the partnership renewal, the European online travel agency can continue displaying and selling products such as paid seat assignments, baggage fees, and priority boarding from the airlines, as it does on its own websites.

Having recently become the first global distribution system to be certified by IATA as a Level 3Aggregator under its New Distribution Capability (NDC) initiative, Travelport will also benefit Travelgenio by creating NDC connections with airlines as they become available.

By connecting to Travelport’s platform, Travelgenio will also benefit from search, automation, shopping and booking technologies, while accessing business logic and profiling functionality.
