Hotelbeds Group´s figures show that Germans travelling to Asian destinations this summer have risen 12 percent, led by Indonesia, Thailand, Japan and Singapore growth. Additionally New York, a traditional summer destination for the German market, has increased significantly, becoming the second most reserved destination. German holidaymakers also seem to prefer Turkey and Egypt.
Traditional destinations still prove irresistible, with Mallorca, Spain remaining the favourite destination, followed by New York, Crete and Las Vegas. However, European city trips such as London and Barcelona faced a slight downward trend.
