Iberia to Fly Most Advanced Aircraft

Iberia will in June become the first airline to fly the improved version of the Airbus A350/900, which, among other advantages, consumes 30 percent less fuel.

For its short- and medium-haul network, Iberia will also be taking delivery of its first two Airbus A320neo planes, which consumer 15 percent less fuel.

Iberia is also launching non-stop flights from Madrid to San Francisco, starting April 25 and ending September 28, with departures on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays, and Managua, on the same days, beginning October 01.

Iberia also expects substantial growth in traffic on several of its routes for which it is adding eight percent to overall seat supply over the 2017 total.
