Ryanair Releases May Traffic Statistics

Ryanair released its May traffic statistics revealing that traffic grew by six percent, to reach 12.5 million passengers.

Meanwhile, load factor rose by one percent to 96 percent while rolling annual traffic to May grew by eight percent to 132.1 million passengers. Air Traffic Control strikes and staff shortages cause cancellation of over 1,100 flights in May compared to 43 in May 2017.

Ryanair is an Irish low-cost airline founded in 1984, headquartered in Swords, Dublin, Ireland, with its primary operational bases at Dublin and London Stansted airports. Overall, Ryanair has revealed how proud it is of its 400 new Boeing aircraft fleet collection. According to the airline, Ryanair connects 37 countries while maintaining 85 bases in Europe. Daily, the airline operates 2,000 routes.
