Under the new agreement, Airtrade will utilise Travelport’s open platform and Universal API technology to deliver its customers real-time informed content from over 400 airlines, 650,000 hotel properties and 35,000 car rental locations. With 250 airlines signed up to use Travelport’s merchandising technology, Airtrade is to display, gain powerful information around, and sell branded fare families and ancillary products from these airlines.
Meanwhile, Travelport is to benefit Airtrade by creating NDC connections with airlines as they become available.
