On Travelport, content from Air France-KLM and HOP! – which offers regional flights operated by Air France subsidiaries – will include the tech company’s leading rich content, branded fares, fare families and multiple ancillaries.
Travelport customers can expect to continue benefiting from tools beyond booking capability and enable workflow automation, change management processes, provide multiple content integration and robotics for fulfillment, and other vital services.
Travelport noted it was the only operator of a global distribution system with the highest level of International Air Transport Association certification for the deployment of its New Distribution Capability (NDC) technology.
The agreement also enables customers selected by Air France-KLM and HOP! to access a private channel through which they will receive content without the additional distribution surcharge levied by Air France-KLM, scheduled to start April 01.
“Both Air France-KLM and Travelport will work together to bring NDC content of new fares, products, services and rich media to the marketplace,” commented Emmanuelle Gailland, vice president distribution, Air France-KLM.
