Casablanca Named Etihad Airways’ New Dreamliner Destination

Etihad Airways will operate its flagship Boeing B787 Dreamliner on the Abu Dhabi to Casablanca route from May 01, 2018.

Casablanca is the first North African destination to be served by Etihad Airways’ next generation aircraft, fast becoming the backbone of the Abu Dhabi-based carrier’s longhaul fleet.

The three-class aircraft, featuring eight First Suites, 28 Business Studios and 199 Economy Smart Seats, will replace the Airbus A330s currently operating daily on the route, and offer additional cargo capacity.

An accompanying scheduling change also optimises timings for customers travelling to and from Morocco’s port city and commercial hub, improving connectivity to a wider network of destinations across Asia and Australia.

Geneva will become the newest Boeing B787 European destination from March 25, 2018.
