Monarch has revealed its 2017-2018 winter schedule, which will add 430,000 seats through increased frequencies on its ski and sun routes.

The low-cost carrier will serve winter itineraries from all its five UK bases, Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Gatwick Airport, London Luton and Manchester.

Some of the routes are already available on the market, such as Turin, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Lyon and Grenoble.

The new season will also see an extension of the flying programme from Manchester to Kittilä in Finnish Lapland, following the 2016 success of Monarch's Arctic Experience launched from London Gatwick.

Passengers who prefer winter sun will have an option of more frequent flights to the Canary Islands, Málaga and Alicante.
