Air Baltic Celebrated 22 Years of Achievements

On October 01, Latvian carrier airBaltic celebrated 22 years of operations since the official launch of commercial operations.

In 1995 the airline started operations from Riga to only four destinations and today it operates direct flights to over 60 destinations spanning Europe, Scandinavia, and the Middle East.

Speaking about the future, Martin Gauss, CEO, airBaltic, highlighted, “[….] In the next few years we are planning to grow further – we will replace our turboprop aircraft with completely new jet fleet that will enable us to continue our expansion of the route map. Our increased capacity, efficient aircraft and low cost base will enable airBaltic to continue growth as the number one Baltic carrier.”
