Cyprus Revenue from Tourism for July Shows Increase

On the basis of the results of the Cyprus Passenger Survey carried out by the country’s statistical service, revenue from tourism in Cyprus reached EUR245,7 million in July of this year, compared to EUR42,5 million in July 2020.

This is recorded as an increase of 478,1 percent as compared to the revenue from tourism for July 2019 (EUR422 million), where there was a decrease of 41,8 percent.

For the period of January – July of this year, revenue from tourism is estimated at EUR504,5 million compared to EUR164,5 million in the corresponding period of 2020, recording an increase of 206,7 percent and a decrease of 64,6 percent compared to January-July 2019 (EUR1,425,2 million).
