A high-level government and tourism delegation from the Republic of Mauritius visited the the UAE January 10-13, as part of a week-long promotional and business development mission to position Mauritius as the destination and partner of choice for the UAE’s travel agents, tourism industry partners and leisure-seeking residents.

In line with national efforts aimed at combating the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in coordination with a number of Bahraini enterprises specialising in medical supplies, recently assisted in the importation of nine tons of medical items needed to mitigate the spread of the COVID-19, as well as general medications, medical equipment and hygienic products.

The medical drugs and equipment were chartered on special Gulf Air flights in an initiative spearheaded by Team Bahrain.

The collaboration between the national carrier and the local companies is to ensure the Kingdom possesses an abundant supply of medical drugs and equipment during this time to serve the shared goal of a safe and healthy community for all.

 

 

Following major renovation, Dinamo Stadium, Minsk, Belarus is scheduled to officially reopen on June 21, with an athletics event featuring Belarus, Balkan country and Gulf state athletes due to take place the following day.

On October 01-04, The Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) organised a new Gulf promotional tour which included a number of cities in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTEA) organised the GCC inaugural meeting on January 25 – 26, which took place in Manama.

International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) took place on April 24 – 25 at the International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Dubai, alongside Arabian Travel Market (ATM).
