African Parks, an international non-governmental organisation (NGO) seeking to address Africa’s environmental conservation issues, will continue its Malawi initiatives throughout this year.

After four years without lions roaming Liwonde, Malawi, African Parks has reintroduced the species back into the National Park.

On October 15, Malawi welcomed two cheetah cubs to the Liwonde National Park.

With support from Central African Wilderness Safaris, Peace Parks Foundation has recently translocated 34 elephants from Liwonde National Park to Nyika National Park, both in Malawi.
