After beginning his career with the group in 1998 at Kempinski Hotel Adlon Berlin, Opitz has since held a number of roles at the company’s hotels, including working on the pre-opening of Kempinski Hotel Heiligendamm, as food and beverage project manager.
In 2004, he moved to Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi as food and beverage assistant then held the position of restaurant manager at Kempinski Hotel Dalian.
