According to a recent YouGov survey, commissioned by Reed Exhibitions, the organiser of Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2021, the amount of money that Middle East travellers spend on international leisure travel, will begin to exceed 2019 pre-COVID levels, in as little as three years. This is supported by forecast analysis carried out by Tourism Economics (TE).  

The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) has revealed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dubai Airport Freezone Authority (DAFZA).


In June, a total of 41,589 aircraft movements were recording in Dubai and the Northern Emirates airspace, as revealed by Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Dubai Air Navigations Services.

In another remarkable first for Dubai the UAE witnessed the inauguration of the VIP Terminal at Dubai South by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, H.H. Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, advisor to president of UAE, and H.H. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan.
