The newly renovated Delta Sky Club at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is officially open with an additional 167 m2 of space for guests to enjoy and featuring fresh fare from chef Marjorie Meek-Bradley.
Los Angeles-based chefs Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo will offer their culinary creations to Delta One customers on board Delta Air Lines flights departing Los Angeles International Airport (LAIA).
Delta Air Lines has launched the first phase of testing a biometric boarding pass experience at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, which enables Delta SkyMiles members enrolled in CLEAR to prove their identity at the Delta Sky Club with fingertips.
Without any printed documents, the second stage of the programme will allow the eligible passengers to check a bag, check-in and board the flight.
After analysing the outcomes of the testing period, the carrier intends to identify necessary improvements and broader implementation.
Expressing the company’s excitement to pioneer such customer experience, Gil West, chief operating officer, Delta Air Lines, said, “We are rapidly moving towards a day when your fingerprint, iris or face will become the only ID you will need […].”
