Ryanair Launch 14 New Flights from Europe to Jordan

Expanding its Middle East operations, Ryanair has launched its first flights to Jordan with 14 new routes to Amman and Aqaba, which are expected to deliver almost 500,000 passengers annually.

Ryanair’s Amman year-round schedule includes 10 new routes, starting with Paphos from March, before growing to Bologna, Brussels Zaventem, Bucharest, Budapest, Krakow, Milan Bergamo, Prague, Vilnius and Warsaw Modlin from October. The airline’s Aqaba Winter 2018 schedule includes new routes to Athens, Cologne, Rome Ciampino and Sofia.

Commenting on the addition of the new routes, H.E. Lina Mazhar Annab, chairwoman, Jordan Tourism Board, said, “This is a significant development in Jordan’s travel industry. [...] Enhancing air connectivity is one of the key areas Jordan is focusing on, given its impact on unlocking economic growth through attracting business investment as well as spurring tourism [...].”
