Royal Jordanian Suspends Najaf Flights

Royal Jordanian Airline (RJ) decided to halt its services between Amman and the Iraqi city of Najaf, effective July 15 and until further notice, in view of the security situation at Najaf Airport.

RJ usually operates four weekly scheduled flights to Najaf.

The city is the ninth destination on RJ’s route network to and from where the airline has suspended its flights for security reasons.

It has been added to other eight other destinations, namely  Mosul (Iraq), Damascus (Syria), Aleppo (Syria), Tripoli (Libya), Benghazi (Libya), Misrata (Libya), Sanaa (Yemen) and Aden (Yemen). 

RJ is the flag carrier airline of Jordan and operates is head office in Amman. The airline operates scheduled international services over four continents from its main base at Queen Alia International Airport.
