Park Hotels & Resorts Release 2017 Results

Park Hotels & Resorts announced results for the fourth quarter (Q4) and full year 2017.

During Q4, the company reported that comparable RevPAR was USD159.50, a 1.7 percent increase on a pro-forma basis from the same period in 2016; excluding the effect of hurricanes on Key West hotels, while comparable RevPAR increased 2.4 percent from the same period in 2016.

Results for 2017 revealed that comparable RevPAR was USD163.49, an increase of 0.7 percent on a pro-forma basis from the same period in 2016; excluding the effect of hurricanes on Key West hotels, and comparable RevPAR increased 0.9 percent from the same period in 2016.

Thomas J. Baltimore, chairman, Park Hotels & Resorts, stated, “We have made great strides in closing the margin gap with our peers, returned nearly USD1 billion in cash and stock dividends to stockholders and have made tremendous progress on our capital recycling programme through the sale of 12 non-core hotels for gross proceeds of USD379 million.”
