All-Women eXXpedition Team Educates on Pollution

The all-female eXXpedition team arrived at London’s St. Katharine Docks as a part of their Round Britain 2017 sailing trip, which is focussed on collecting data related to water pollution.

Before continuing their voyage around the British Isles, the crew members are set to deliver educational talks at the quay on August 31 – September 01.

During their travels, the group has been monitoring plastics and toxins as they navigate, while collecting data, footage and findings to add to the worldwide database of such pollutants in the ocean.

The team has also been engaging with locals, tourists, media, politicians, and other stakeholders in order to spread awareness about the situation as well as encourage lifestyle and societal changes which are crucial for achieving a sustainable environment.
