Aiming to ensure that floating restaurants in the emirate apply best practices and comply with international standards, Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) continues inspection and follow-up on the work of the vessels.

Meanwhile the authority is committed to launching periodic educational campaigns in order to raise awareness about how to ensure safe operations focusing on emergency training, ship evacuation and emergency response.

“We are keen to enable floating restaurants in Dubai to comply with the highest standards of operational efficiency, maritime safety and safe navigation, in the belief that DMCA is pivotal in driving the growth of the maritime tourism sector […],” highlighted Abdullah Bintoaq, senior director, maritime inspection department, DMCA.
